GrassProtecta™ grass reinforcement mesh is a thick, plastic protection mesh for protecting grass that is prone to becoming muddy, rutted and worn particularly in wet or heavilly trafficked conditions. GrassProtecta™ grass reinforcement mesh is available in two mesh thicknesses depending on the level of reinforcement the grass requires. The plastic mesh is fixed to the existing grass surface using metal fixing pins. The grass quickly grows through the mesh apertures and the roots of the grass will start to intertwine with the mesh filaments. This creates a strong interlock between the grass and the reinforcement mesh. Once the grass has fully grown and intertwined, the plastic mesh would have disappeared and the surface will be a very stable grass area ideal for grass parking lots, pedestrian paths, RV parks, grass shoulders and handicap access routes.

Steel U-Pins to secure the grass and ground reinforcement meshes (TurfProtecta™, GrassProtecta™ and BodMat™), geotextiles and weed control fabric / ground cover to the ground . Steel U-Pins are supplied in packs of 50 pins. Metal fixing pins are easily banged into the ground using a club hammer.
